Matthew A. Costa, D.O., MBA, Joins Premier Orthopaedics
Premier Orthopaedics is pleased to welcome Matthew A. Costa, D.O., MBA, to its Chadds Ford, Pa. practice. Dr. Costa is a board-certified non-operative sports medicine physician who specializes in concussion management, osteopathic manipulations, and platelet rich plasma injections.
“We are happy to have Dr. Costa join our organization,” said Jeffrey Malumed, M.D., president of Premier Orthopaedics. “He trained locally, and our staff already knows him well. I am sure he will be a valuable addition to the patients in the area.”
Dr. Costa earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and his M.B.A. at Saint Joseph’s University Haub School of Business. He completed a residency and fellowship at Crozer Health in Springfield, Pa.
He currently serves as the team Osteopath for the Philadelphia Union II and during his training served as assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Union soccer teams. He has also taught Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in Germany.
