Adam M. Thompson, D.O. Joins Premier Orthopaedics
NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. – Premier Orthopaedics is pleased to welcome Adam M. Thompson, D.O. to its Havertown, Pa. practice. Dr. Thompson is a board-certified non-operative sports medicine physician who specializes in concussion management, osteopathic manipulations, and platelet rich plasma injections.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Thompson to our organization,” said Jeffrey Malumed, M.D., president of Premier Orthopaedics. “Not only is he skilled at the non-operative management of sports medicine injuries, but he also has researched, presented at national conferences and been published in peer-reviewed journals on the topic of concussion management He will be a great asset to Premier Orthopaedics and the Northern Delaware County community.”
Dr. Thompson earned his medical degree from the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Crozer Health in Springfield, Pa.
As a fellow, Dr. Thompson served as co-team physician for several local high schools and an assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Union.
