Mike received his Masters of Science degree from Ithaca College in 2003 where he played inter-collegiate basketball. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Temple University in 2008. Mike has been full-body certified in Active Release Technique (ART) since 2005 and obtained his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in 2009. Additional certifications include Functional Movement Based Taping (FMT), Functional Movement Screening (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Analysis (SFMA), and Post Offer Employment Testing (POET).
Mike actively participates in community outreach programs and professional development. He serves as adjunct faculty in Widener University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, mentors physical therapy students, and conducts professional education in-services to therapists and fitness/performance professionals in the community.
Mike’s treatment philosophy incorporates holistic functional movement and neuromuscular training along with a broad spectrum of manual skills to provide the foundation for efficient and long lasting orthopedic healing.
In addition to patient-care, Mike is Premier Orthopaedic’s Regional Clinical Director for the Chester and Montgomery County area clinics and manages the West Chester location.
Areas of professional interest: functional breathing and movement, sports performance, skilled running, surgical rehabilitation, spine rehabilitation (including thorax, pelvis and hip), manual therapy.

Mike offers direct access physical therapy.
Direct access allows patients with an injury to see a Premier Orthopaedics physical therapist for 30 days without a physician referral. Direct access is not for Medicare, WC or MVA patients. To set up an appointment, please call 484.356.9401.
