Russ received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2002. In 2010 he completed his certification as Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT) in Maitland technique. He is board certified as an orthopedic specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has practiced orthopedic manual and sports physical therapy with an emphasis on injury management and orthopaedics for the spine and extremities.
Russ’s approach to treatment is to use movement and palpation to analyze muscle imbalances and find the root cause of the problem and return the patient back to their highest level of function using various manual therapy techniques and specific functional exercises.
